Hi
I'm using domoticz version 2022,2, and im still using open zwave on my aeotech gen5 stick, these latest weeks have encountered some problems, I have made a blocky with about 20 zwave switches, these are outdoor lights and some indoors, these turns on when the sun sets and turns off when the sun comes back.
But lately a lot of these zwave switches won't turn on or off, in domoticz these switches looks like they have turn on or off as they should but it isn't true.
After I reboot domoticz everything works for a couple a days again, but then the problems appear again.
What could I do to get it to work again?

Re: Open zwave problem
If you try to switch these devices, do you have some timeouts errors in logs after a few seconds? Some may occur, sometimes, especially with lots of devices but if that's always the case you may have zwave radio communication issues: Maybe some devices too far to be reached or some mesh network topology issue.tjabas wrote: ↑Tuesday 24 October 2023 18:55 But lately a lot of these zwave switches won't turn on or off, in domoticz these switches looks like they have turn on or off as they should but it isn't true.

From zwave control panel, you may select nodes closest to controller then from each other and trigger "Request Node Neighbor Update" & wait a bit. I usually have to cancel command after 1 mn or 2 before proceeding to next node as it appear to never finish but looks to solve issues.
You may also try a full network heal (either from domoticz integration or OZW control panel), but that's usually not needed & long...

Re: Open zwave problem
In the Domoticz hardware section and then click on the setting tab of you USB stick.
Click one the a device and then the button "renew node info"
For me this trick helped a few time when aevice was not responding
