I now have Nora running for five devices. If I install Google-SmartHome on a separate Pi, will these two work in parallel?

I assume, you mean SmartNora and not the old Nora.

That will depend on the names, you use.
You can't have e.g. two Switches, both called "Switch" in your "Living Room", but you can have "Switch1" and "Switch2" in the "Living Room"
If you are satisfied, you can delete the SmartNora "Switch" and then rename the other "Switch".

This is the same. I'm surprised that the old Nora still works.
Use different names and you will not run into problems.

Setup Smart Nora and worked with little effort I must say. I am a free Nora user, so I can only control 5 devices with this license, but for me that is more then enough because I use Google Assistant only for some devices.
