Delay in fibarolink

Post by ravaoo »

There is a huge delay in starting a scene in fibaro hc2 when i use fibarolink. Is there a setting to change the delay? Is there another way to start the scene without delay?

Some context of my project.
I have domoticz running on my Synology NAS. My NAS can't run docker so i installed the version availible in the plugin libary (version 2020.2)
I use domoticz to recieve button clicks from a Hue switch.
For this i use Events (blockly) to catch the trigger from the hue button and push a dummy switch.
In fibarolink i monitor the dummy switch and start a scene in Fibaro.
(i do this because i can't sellect a buton pushed with the hue switch device directly)

This, i got working! But the delay between pushing and see my lights (controlled with fibaro) changing is up to 10 seconds!
Running latest BETA on on Docker (Container Manager) in Synology NAS using zwave_js_ui with mqtt. Getting started with homebridge.

what happens if you switch the dummy switch manually? Does it have the same delay?
Check the domoticz log file (menu setup - Log) to see what the timing of your actions are.
Domoticz running on Udoo X86 (on Ubuntu)
Devices/plugins: ZigbeeforDomoticz (with Xiaomi, Ikea, Tuya devices), Nefit Easy, Midea Airco, Omnik Solar, Goodwe Solar

O, this is a good idee. When i switch the dummy's it is reacting almost immediately! So the delay is in de hue-domoticz link, or in the blockly handling.

I found a solution in another tread:
viewtopic.php?t=20466

I have set the polling on 1 sec in the hardware config for the hue bridge! I hope this setting doesn't cook my NAS :D

thanks for the help waltervl!!
