Windspeed prediction max speed

Good morning,

I am looking for a solution to get a notification if the maximum wind speed in the next 24 hours is higher than 8 m/s.
I found out with the Open Weather plugin its possible to get weather devices with wind speed for the coming days, but the value is the last value of that day (23:59). Any idea how to get the maximum of the day out of it?
