Since some time i have a checkbox in my "Log History" Setup page: "Only add newly received values to the log"
I have tried to figure out what its purpose is, but i have not been able to find what this checkbox is doing.
does anyone know it's purpose?

Re: Setup > Settings > Log History
I think this has to do with the 5 min sensor/meter update. If a sensor/meter is not sending data after 5 minutes domoticz will put the same value in the database as last update from 5 minutes ago. With this setting you will get only a database value inserted if the device is realy sending a new value (could be after hours). This could save a lot of database and disk space due to a smaller short log not being updated every 5 minutes.
