Zigbee2mqtt and sonoff bridge
Hello
I have a domoticz version 2022 . 2 automation installed on a raspberry 4, 8 gb. I tried to install a SNZB-02 sensor using a Sonoff bridge on which I put the tasmota. the zigbee sensors are seen in the router's tasmota menu, but I can't see them in domoticz. I use the zigbee2mqtt plugin. I am attaching some print screens.
i see that the service of zigbee2mqtt is not start.
i use this tutorial:
cd domoticz/plugins/zigbee2mqtt
git pull

Re: Zigbee2mqtt and sonoff bridge
This is the either a Sonoff tasmota issue or a zigbee2mqtt issue.
So first start there. Where did you read that this bridge is supported by zigbee2mqtt?

Re: Zigbee2mqtt and sonoff bridge
to be honest, I assumed it was compatible. maybe a colleague can tell me if this combination was successful. domoticz, sonoff bridge, SNZB-02.

Re: Zigbee2mqtt and sonoff bridge
Did you setup the correct mqtt topic name in the tasmota?
The default topic name which tasmota uses, doesn't work. The tasmota will send messages, but domoticz doesn't do anything with it, because of this topic name.
And what kind of sonoff bridge do you have, sonoff has a few different designs. And not all designs are supported by zigbee2mqtt

Re: Zigbee2mqtt and sonoff bridge
If i am right, the sonoff bridge pro is not supported by zigbee2mqtt.
If you want to use it, you have to add rules in your tasmota console, that it sends the correct format mqtt message.
But you are limited on rules, they can't be added unlimited.
Or go for the nodered option, which i use with my sonoff bridge (not pro) (see other thread link)
Like Walter said in the other thread.
If you want to use a supported solution, take a usb-dongle which is supported.

Re: Zigbee2mqtt and sonoff bridge
Thanks for the solution.
theoretically, only 5 SNZB-02 temperature sensors will be connected to this zibgee. If the bridge can support 5 rules, it would be perfect. Do you have any idea what usb-dongle works for sure? my NODE-RED level is below sea level
