I just want to post that Domoticz has great security right out of the box so to speak if you wanted to access it outside of your network. There is a built in certificate to use and you can replace it if you want.
However, in my case I don't want to open a port and MyDomoticz is down so I went with Cloudflare Argo Tunnel. It's no charge, fast, easier to setup than many of the reverse proxy and other solutions out there, and no server to setup.
There is a persistent outbound connection to cloudflare from a daemon/service on your Domoticz server and that's it. My Domoticz for Android app connects to the URL and it routes to the Domoticz port with no open ports on your network exposed to the world.

Re: Domoticz with Cloudflare Argo Tunnel
Hi,
I've started using the CLoudflare tunnels for most of my services, but I'm wondering how to password protect them.
For example, do you know how to put a password protection in Cloudflare (so BEFORE the request arrives to Domoticz)?
Thanks!
