I know it is written somewhere in this forum. I used it before with success. But the batteries last too long to remember how I did it.
I searched with different phrases but had no luck.
I have different weather sensors, communicating over 433 MHz and received by RFXCOM. The ID changed from 3000 to A600.
I would like to keep the historical data. How do I do that?
Thank you.

Use the replace function to replace the old Domoticz device by the new with including the historical data. See the wiki for instructions: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Managing_ ... ace_device

Re: How to keep historical data when changing battery in weather sensor
May I suggest to change the name of the article "Replace device" to "Replace battery" ?
My search was for battery, which gave no results.

Re: How to keep historical data when changing battery in weather sensor
Replace battery is not the only use case to replace a domoticz device. Could also be replacing electricity meters, changing from Zwave OZW to ZwaveJS-UI etc.
