WPC3 failing and need suggestion for replacement

Post by kimhav »

One of my Wireless Pulse Counter 3 (foogadgets WPC3) stopped working after being in use since 2016 and need to replace it with something else and it can either support 433MHz (which the WPC3 uses to transmit pulse sensor readings via S0) or zwave. What is the latest and greatest of tiny devices to be used nowdays?

Did you try contacting the guy who made them back then? Maybe he has some lying around. I bought one in 2016 too and it is still working. I hope it never stops working!!! It is sooo great.

No never reached out to foogadgets but I realised that the unit most likely just 'chocked' and stopped communicating for whatever reason or it might be a combination issue with Domoticz. So it still works and yes got to say it's been extremely stable meter. Having said that I'm replacing 3 units I got installed with wired pulse meters instead due to that I have errornous reading due to external disturbance and going wired will fix the issue.
