Hello,
I'm new to domoticz. I just was gifted a rflink which I'm trying to use as main control method for my v1 and v2 (APA3-1500) Kaku switches. I've already managed to combine the switches of both versions in a scene so they are triggered by the V2 switches I have, but here I'm getting into some trouble.
Scene setup:
Activation devices:
* 2 regular remotes, group 1
* programmable remote, group 1
Devices:
* programmable remote group 1 (so when I select on the code is sent as well)
* kaku v1 a1 code
* kaku v1 a2 code
The idea was to have 1 of the v2 remotes used as trigger to switch the grouped kaku v2 switches and 2 kaku v1 switches. This works when I use the regular remotes, but not when I use the programmable remote (I guess because that code is both activator and device).
However, when I add a timer to switch the group on (on 20 min before sunset), only the v1 kaku switches are activated, not the v2 group.
What is the best way to create a scene that does the following?
* activate all grouped v2 the v1 switches
* react to any of the remotes correctly
* react to the timer correctly
I already found a description to activate the kaku v2 switches by manually create an AC on/off device with a chosen id and pair it to a kaku switch, but haven't managed to get that to work.
Edit: Max 3 remotes for the v2 switches... need to clear one and see if I can get this to work.
Edit 2: yep, works after clearing. I now have 1 remote (programmable) as activator and paired the cleared switch to regular v2 remote. The regular remote is now as device in the scene, but not as trigger. That seems to be what's required. I'll see if the timer works now tonight.
Group scene works perfect manually, half on timer

Ok. lets answer this myself, for others that get into these kind of issues. The problem was caused by Kaku itself. The v2 version can't handle multiple codes after each other. Also when adding a remote as trigger and wanting to use the same code as device, Domoticz won't send out the code when switching the sceme. To get this working correctly I had to follow the steps below:
- clear all receivers of the codes they had as they could handle max 3 and I had 3 remotes programmed.
(get them in learn mode and press 'all off' on one of the regular remotes) - Link each receiver to a 'virtual' remote following this manual
- Link the grouped receivers to 1 regular remote group 1
(so I have a backup when the rflink is giving issues) - Add all switches as device to the scheme, (de)activating 1 at a time with the next at a 1 sec delay from the previous.
(Or use group 1 of the remote to trigger that group and add the v1 switches after that) - Add the programmable remote and the other regular remote as the trigger.
- setup the timers as wanted
