Domoticz app 2.0 Topic is solved

Hello
I've been a domoticz premium user for some time and since I updated to this latest version, I'm not able to configure an NFC TAG! The tag is configured with app://domoticz, but then in the app's settings it doesn't recognize the tag.
In the previous version I was always able to configure tags.
I'm using android 12.
I hope you can solve it, in case it's an app bug.

Also about all the different flavors people are asking:
- list / grid
- buttons / switch
- events/uservars/logs on main menu
- less data on dashboard
- more data on dashboard
- etc

Im actually checking events in analytics to see the usage.. and then the 100 options are really cluttering the project/code setup.
So if i notice that for example less then 1% uses some features, it could be worth to remove some flexibility, and gain more ease in development and be able to rework the app better.

I actually think i have been too flexible for the 1% users in the past, sorry for that.

I understand your point of view. But domoticz is all about the adjustably of the software.
These things above "on/off" buttons and "last update" will they come back?
Otherwise I have to revert to an older version of the premium app, to get all the things working again.

Agreed - I really don't like the on/off toggles - sometimes my app is out of sync with actual device status so I have to toggle on/off repeatedly to get the function I wanted - having direct on/off buttons allows me to easily control with one tap.

If you decide not to bring back direct buttons option for future versions, can we at least get the latest APK of the version that still had them and I'll just stick with using that?

If using 433MHZ light, you need a separate direct On / Off switch. Because Domoticz doesn't know the status. If the light is already On (manual switch in the wall), and domoticz has a status OFF, i need the switch the lights ON in the app, before switching OFF.

I'm user of the premium app for a long time.
The app was perfect but now with the upgrade there are a lot of problems.

Now in the main panel when i try to move a switch to reorder the app crash!

Someone has the same issue?

The widgets are still "beta" Just some feedback, the switches only update after opening the app and the temperature doesn't update!
For the rest the app is pretty ok and I like the widgets.

Before the app update, geofence was very reliable. Since the update not anymore. When I leave my location it looks like it works, but when I come home it does not trigger the switch. But hours later, somewhere around midnight it triggers the switch. And everytime when I open the app, it triggers my switch. The app is running in background and no energy savings, using location is allowed always.

What's with the adverts? I previously paid for premium, premium app tells me I now need to use the 'one' version. Now I've got adverts where I expect to see my devices. That's irritating. It's also not very respectful to people who supported the app by paying for it!.

How do I remove the ads? I thought perhaps 'restore subscriptions' was it, but that appears to do nothing.

Where are you seeing ads? I'm on the (origional) premium too and don't have ads

Thanks for notifying that in release 2022.2 the blinds are changed command whise.. so the on/off actions are changed so they dont behave correctly in thee app anymore.

Im going to change that in the app

I also noticed that after the 2022.2 update the logs show the following deprecated warning when logging in with the app. It does not appear when logging in by the browser.

We paid for the Premium app, forever, now we need to pay again and also every year, I don't think is the right way to have such a subscription for a "free home automation enviromental".

Considering the design of the app and his services that I think they are the same of the previous one a one time paid subscription were enough.

Did some cleaning today, removed all the unneeded inverted blind devices

I've been testing the blinds with reverse state and reverse position settings, but they all seem the same for me.. i've tested them and they look good on the app. So if you have issues with those states in the last beta, please explain as good as possible
