Hello,
I have some problems since last week and i dont know what happen.
my tasmota devices are in version 12.0.2
I have 2 instances of domoticz, one in docker and one in raspberry), both with beta: 2022.1(14385)
I use other instance of homeassistant in docker

until last week all works perfect and i can see all my tasmota devices in domoticz with the autodiscovery hardware with prefix "homeassistant"

now, i dont know what change, maybe I make something, sorry but i dont remember (i update domoticz, HA, MQTT, tasmota... i dont remember exactly )
The problem is when i switch one tasmota device in domoticz apears this error "Error sending switch command, check device/hardware (idx=xxx)!
and in the log i can see this message: 2022-07-16 11:57:02.794 Error: MQTT_AutoDiscovery_Tasmota: Switch not found!?(496D06_RL_5/Sa_Regleta_USBs)

I try to remove a device of domoticz to force it to apears again, but not apears. I can see this devices in mqtt explorer with the topic "tele" and with the topic "tasmota/discovery".
I can see any topic in mqttexplorer with "homeassistant", i dont know if before this change this topic apears

All this test are in docker.

In the other raspberry domoticz, i setup a new hardware with mqqt autodiscovery and prefix "homeassistant" and not new devices apears
The setoption19 is OFF. and before this problem this always stay at off

any idea. im little frustrated and i think the problem is only mine because i have this problem since one week and i can see anyone with this problems

Hello again.
I fix the problem but i thing my solution is not a good solution.

The problem is that tasmota 11 version, when you launch "setoption19 1" this enable the autodiscover with prefix "homeassistant". and the integration in domoticz works perfect!

BUT if you upgrade to a tasmota 12, and launch "setoption 19 1" nothing ocurs and tasmota not use the prefix "homeassistant", and the integration in domoticz stop works

Yes that is the solution, so either do not update, or talk to Tasmota about this. They seem to have a hard time getting the auto discovery to work and they want to drop support for it.
Would be a shame.... there is also other hardware like zigbee/zwave

Hi all,

Tasmota dropped the support of homeassistant discovery method in version 12.1.1. It was to complicated and added too much code to the (limited) room on IoT devices.
They now included their own auto discovery method using the tasmota/discovery topic. This is the default when SetOption19 is off. When SetOption19 is on, nothing is transmitted since Tasmota 12.1.1

now, with the beta 14525 i have a problem with mqtt autodiscovery:
2022-10-03 17:43:20.547 Error: MQTT_AutoDiscovery_Tasmota: Switch not found!? (AFC4B0_RL_3/Bu_Regleta_Impresora_Impresora)

With the previous docker version, its works fine, no problem.
@gizmocuz. do you know if in the beta versions above 14498, someone change something with the MQTT autodiscovery in the tasmota devices??

i update a minute ago to 14528 and the problem is the same.

Remember, i have the tasmota device with 11 version, and the old compatibility with homesssistant topic
