Is it possible, because unfortunately I fail? :(
That is not possible in Domoticz (in no theme). You have to install Dashticz to do this.

Another possibility is to use rooms to filter devices based on function. Give the room a function name like "security".

Is the update still on git hub?

My Domoticz reminds me to update but the version on github still seems to be 1.16.2 from august 2020

After updating Domoticz to the latest Beta version disappeared those three dots on the switches tile that allows to enter the editing options.
So i thougt, that also upgradind the machinon plugin to Beta may help. Cleaning cache, etc. done, but nothing helps. On the default theme Domoticz everything works fine. What can I do?

My issue was that the fixes require the directory name to be machinon. Mine was called Machinon (capital M). Cleared cache and things worked again.

its actually stupid that the theme needs to hardcoded the install folder within the theme.. because everybody could install the theme in a different folder...

The theme should be able to use a variable for the install folder of the theme.

As it was previously with 'acttheme' the theme didn't had to know the location..

If you have issues with Machinon theme on latest beta - no "Edit" buttons and so on - you need to link machinon directory to acttheme directory.

ln -s /opt/domoticz/www/styles/machinon /opt/domoticz/www/acttheme

otherwise that directory is not there and not much works.

@JanZorz , that (symbolic)link should not be necessary. There has been some changes to the theme processing but also Machinon theme has been updated also. Make sure you have the latest versions.

Without that link I get many errors on "Developer tools console" in Chrome and half things in MAchinon doesn't work. I have latest Machinon and Machinon beta, neither of them work. I also have latest Domoticz beta.
