Hi Richard,
Please have a look here:
https://github.com/J0hnMatrix/domoticz- ... 0-hs110-v2
This should do the trick.

Freek

Re: TP-Link smart plug HS100/HS110
Hi Freek,
Unfortunately the same result.
So right after I installed the HS110 in setup-hardware, domoticz crashes, and I can only bring it back to life when I delete the plugins,
and delete the database restart and restore the database.
Thanks for the effort,
Richard

Report button for energy cost etc?
First post on this thread.
I'm using the plugin on domoticz on pi.
Is ther any way to add the Report button to get energy cost as with other power devices?

Hi @joew, sorry I haven't seen the Report button functionality and so I don't know the answer to your question, hopefully someone else will chime in.

Re: TP-Link smart plug HS100/HS110
The report function is only available for some device types.
For electricity it is for example available on the General (243), Subtype Kwh (29) device.
https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Developin ... vice_Types
I did not read through all this topic but the plugin https://github.com/J0hnMatrix/domoticz- ... 0-hs110-v2 does not make use of this device subtype.

Re: TP-Link smart plug HS100/HS110
Hi,
I'm using the same steps as ricvee do and having the same problems.
- No plugin showed up in pp-manager list
- If a copy the plugin in the /home/pi/domoticz/plugin folder and install it from the hardware list, domoticz crashes until I'll remove the plugin

HS110 isn't connecting anymore because TP-Link closed port 9999 in the new firmware.

Re: TP-Link smart plug HS100/HS110
Hello everyone.
I'm trying to get new HS110 plugs but can't find any. Instead I found a new TP-Link KP115 which are actually a lot cheaper.
Wondering if the plugin will also work with those?
Thanks.

I don't think they are available with an EU plug right now.

Re: TP-Link smart plug HS100/HS110
I purchased a KP115 in Australia (AU$29) and can confirm it is operating perfectly and exactly as per the HS110. It's quite a bit smaller, about the size of a typical USB charger.
In this case I'm using the plugin. I have it on long term test measuring my fridge power usage.-

Re: TP-Link smart plug HS100/HS110
Anyone who can give me a step by step install ? I did this years ago for the HS100 and 110 the simple way (sending commands to the switches), updated over a year ago to the plugin so I could ready the power etc from the 110 but ... now did a fresh install and cannot get it to work
Running a RPI3 with Raspberry OS with the latest Domoticz.
Thanks !!

Hi @reddo, I see you were part of this thread early on. I have information about getting the plugin working on page 7 of this thread and ongoing. The stand-alone script is described on page 5. Logs are helpful for trouble-shooting, as we don't know which part you can't get to work.
