turn off water pump after 60 minutes?

Post by tjabas »

i have a qubino double switch conneted to my waterpump so i can turn it on and off if something happens,

but i want the pump to turn itself of if it runs for more then 60 minutes, if it runs less than 60 minutes nothing will happen, the swith will stay on.

how can i get this to work in blocky?

the qubino switch have a built in energy meter so can i do something there?
let say that the pump uses 1000 watts for more than 60 minutes it will turn itself off.

can this be done in an easy way?

You should be able to use the build in off delay function (in edit button of the switch). It will switch off after x time after switched on. See wiki page https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Managing_ ... _Off_Delay

So no need to do this in blockly.

but the switch is always on, even if the pump itself has shut down from the preassure sensor controlling the pump, but let say if the pump is consuming 1000watts more than 60 minutes it will automaticly shut of ,and turn the qubino switch off, this is just to protect the pump from overheating if the water in our well goes empty.

hope you understand what i mean.

That is also doable but not with a blockly. You should switch to dzVents.
There is a washing machine script that monitors a power outlet that possibly can be rebuild to your situation: https://domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=23798.
