Have a Z-stick Gen 5 ZW090 (not the +) hooked up on my windows notebook USB port.
Windows settings "bluetooth and other devices" shows this as: " USB serial device (COM 3)
Domoticz Setup Hardware button shows screen with nine etries:
7 times: OpenZWave USB Version: 1.6.1911.gc6a420ef.dirty Setup
2 times: RFLink Gateway USB Version: Create RFLink Devices
All entries show "enabled: : yes", "adress" nothing : "Port" com3, "date timeout" Disabled
Upon pushing setup button a new screen appears, I can fill in a name, but the box shows "no data available"
Whatever I do from here has no effect, Z stick keeps on blinking blue/amber/red
pairing with Fibaro Heat controller also not possible
Aeotec Z stick setup

Re: Aeotec Z stick setup
Have you tried a factory default on the Z-Stick?

Re: Aeotec Z stick setup
Delete all those 7 hardware lines for OpenZwave and also those 2 RFlink lines.
And then start adding the ZWave Controller following the instructions in the wiki:
https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Zwave#Ins ... Controller
And also do not forget the note:
Note: There is an issue with the Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5 (ZW090) on a Raspberry Pi 4. Solution is to use a powered USB 2.0 hub to connect the Z-Stick to the RPi4.

Re: Aeotec Z stick setup
thanks guy's,
Did the factory reset, as well as re-install Domoticz, same result.
Domoticz do not allow me to delete all the hardware lines.
Starting alll over with the Z-stick in a powered hub did have some result, this resulted into the stick as COM8, and a new hardware line.
This new line, however, did show the new box lines filled in and I could add the device.
I could not include the node, showing this in a red box.
Obviously the Z-stick is not yet configured, because I could also not add the Fibaro Heat controller device, followed the Fibaro and Zsitck manual instructions, but no result.
Searched for this fault on the web, found optional fix - deleting the browser cache, but also with no result.
Starting to be a bit fed up with this device, will cool down and maybe continue tomorrow.
any suggestions are welcome, but thanx anyway

Re: Aeotec Z stick setup
Hi,
It really sounds like a hardware issue. It should turn orange (charging) when plugged in and then blue when charged.
Also which windows are you on? Below 10, the drivers won't automatically install

Ah, I missed the windows thing.
Please unplug your stick and delete All hardware lines. Or delete Domoticz completely and start a new install.
Then stop the running Domoticz proces (!), not only the webbrowser , plug in the stick and start Domoticz process again. Then it should create the proper lines.

Re: Aeotec Z stick setup
Tried everything, in vane. Also suspected a conflict with my Rapoo wireless mouse that obviously failed after a while when running Domoticsz.
with and without using the USB stick in a powered USB hub.
Re-installed everything again, no result.
It cost me a too much time and frustration I give up and will send back the Z-stick.
Maybe spend some more money for a proper HUB in stead of this cheap on
