Hi,
I have the above sensor, which uses 455Khz (Lighting 4 protocol) - and I’m trying to bring this into Domoticz. The problem though is that while I can learn the sensor when the two parts are brought close together , it is always switched on - and I can learn the sensor when I take them apart (which is always switched on). The log shows that a transition occurs when I either open or close the sensor parts (in the respective switches), so they are sort of acting like motion sensors!
What I’d like to do is have the sensor act like other door sensors I have - open when the two parts are apart, and closed when they are together.
I know I can probably fix this with a bit of Lua and dummy switches, but I have over 10 of these and would mean 30 switches extra in Domoticz- which would be annoying as I already have quite a lot!
Does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

I am no expert on RF switches but you should be able to change the switch type with the edit button on the device widget that is created by the learn function.

Yes, tried that. Didn’t make any difference.
I’ve fixed it with the hack i mentioned above - but made the opened and closed switches hidden so there isn’t too much clutter in the U.I
