Re: Excessive logging of P1 Smart Meter with LAN interface
Take a closer look at the settings of the hardware for the P1 meter (rate limit)

That is hide the messages. They still come every second now and that seems to me a little bit to much.
My P1 meter sends every 10 seconds a telegram with data and that looks good to me.
In a normal household environment 10 seconds is adequate.
Every second is flooding Domoticz.

Re: Excessive logging of P1 Smart Meter with LAN interface
if the message comes every second, you have a DSMR5 meter, IMHO
DSMR4.x sends every 10 seconds.
take Jan Janssen's advice and see if you can limit the sending at the P1 interface
if that is not an option, learn to live with it.
domoticz can handle this just fine.

Thanks will do this as I just removed a 26g logfile

If you have logfiles of 26Gb, try using logrotate.
