P1 SMART METER -GAS problem
Hello,
gas company changed gas meter with new one- same type.
I have Domoticz 2021.1 Rpi with USB connected smart meter and gas meter MBUS.
Till now everything worked. I deleted old gas usage but device keeps showing and it shows old value.
I tryed to force MBUS channel 1-4 with user variable.
2021-08-26 11:41:14.473 Status: El: Meter is pre DSMR 4.0 and does not send a CRC checksum - using DSMR 2.2 compatibility

Any idea what could be wrong ?

Re: P1 SMART METER -GAS problem
can you look at a raw telegram?
i suspect your new gas meter is on a different m-bus channel.
0-2:24.1.0(003)
0-2:96.1.0(4730303332353635353338353131313137)
0-2:24.2.1(180209151002W)(00004.674*m3)
|
--> channel nr (2)
i see you already have the user variable P1GasMeterChannel, set that to the value from the raw telegram

Hi,
The telegram shown in this post: viewtopic.php?t=10020, look similar to yours.
Also the OBIS code 0-1:24.3.0 is not according to the Dutch specification.
Is it a Dutch or a Belgian meter?
Regards

It was working for 5 years now... Gas company changed gas meter for same type Iskra MT381 was not changed.
Value that i get in domoticz and telegram is old value read from Iskra MT381...
I think gas meter is not sending data to Iskra MT381... I dont know why ?
In domoticz i get message:

Hi, @skorc11,
Can you publish the RAW protocol that you receive from the Smart Meter?
Guideline how to do that, you may find at: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=31593&p=238961&hili ... om#p238961 (Post 07 Mar 2020, 12:18)

Gas meter was changed - new same type- Landis+Gyr 350.
I pressed red button as described in manual . Short press and after that long press 8s ..
After that i get :
- time
-usage (day,month..)
- last command
-last valid Index
I could not get to >>> sign...
One more thing:
there are 4 inputs on gas meter..
I am using 1 and 2 ... this is connected to electricity smart meter.MBUS. (the same as i used for last years)
I couldnt find manuals for this inputs...

Re: P1 SMART METER -GAS problem
Hello @skorc11,
Your problem is not that your 5 year old meter has stopped working and stopped reporting, but you have got a new gasmeter, which does not report (yet).
As it is an old meter, I assume it is installed in The Netherlands (DSMR 2,2)
You said:
An electricity meter has 4, so called M-bus channels, and on each of them 1 external meter, such as a gasmeter or watermeter, can communicate. So in total you can have 4 external meters as a maximum.
So 4 inputs on the gasmeter? Do you mean 4 inputs on the electricity meter.
You are using 1 and 2? What meters are connected? You only mentioned a gasmeter, which has been replaced.
I suggest, you contact your energy supplier and ask them if they can check that the gasmeter is communicating with the electricity meter.
Regards
I did see that, but that is not the issue.as i wrote in first post- it was working for 5 years now without problems...

Re: P1 SMART METER -GAS problem
It should be possible https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Domoticz_ ... n_counters
Try it on a backup first
Code: Select all
Then, depending on counters, you can insert values in history log. For most counters:
/json.htm?type=command¶m=udevice&idx=IDX&nvalue=0&svalue=COUNTER;USAGE;DATE
IDX = id of your device (This number can be found in the devices tab in the column "IDX")
COUNTER = absolute counter energy
USAGE = energy usage
DATE = date with %Y-%m-%d format (for instance 2019-09-24) to put data in last week/month/year history log, or "%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S" format (for instance 2019-10-03 14:00:00) to put data in last days history log
