Installation-error ZiGate on Domoticz on Windows

Yes, it is . But when installing domoticz package there not a single python plugin installed. The folder plugins is not there nor the default 2 python plugins which are usually provide.

I’m not talking about execution, it is about files store on file systems

It appears you have to create the plugins folder manually (strange...) See for example viewtopic.php?t=26399

OK, I'll investigate, but usally on the linux distribution, AwoxSMP and examples are part !!!

I also red that you have to create it manually.
I do have the examples and I did make some python plugins based on the examples. So, my folder was already there and is working. But I cannot really remember how it got there ...

Ok. Problem should be fix by now, but it is not yet available on the stabel5 branche (default branch of the plugin)
I'm currently preparing an update and do expect to push it end of this week, in between if you want to get it, you need to switch to the stable5-fix branch

go to the Domoticz-Zigate folder

Code: Select all

git pull
git checkout stable5-fix
git pull

Then restart the plugin
1- you can set the Zigate model to ZiGate+
2- Leave the Initiatize flag to true for the first run, and then disbale it

The good thing is that I have now a test bed for Domoticz on Win, so I'll make sure to test it once a while, as all of the dev are done on linux platform

Hi Pipiche, I have a Tuya Zigbee 3.0 Switch Module MS-104Z. I try pairing with the ZiGate, but see no response at all. Is such module not supported, or is my setup still not working well?

Please make a new topic for this. You issue is totally not related to windows plugin installation issues. If someone has the same windows issue it will be hard to find.
