Re: MyDomoticz revisited
No change in behavior, seems to be even worse in Firefox as I am not able to login at all (no login screen is shown). Chrome is still working as normal.

Re: MyDomoticz revisited
If I enter mydomoticz at exactly https://my.domoticz.com/mydomoticz/login, then it works for me in Firefox.
Otherwise, in case it redirects it doesn't work.
I'm not sure why.

Re: MyDomoticz revisited
Just tested to open the site (https://my.domoticz.com) with Firefox. Loading the site took me some or less 3 minutes. In Edge the site will load in max 2 seconds.

Re: MyDomoticz revisited
Still issues with Firefox.
Also when i check MyDomoticz my instance is offline now so I have to reboot.
It could be that it is my Internet Gateway as it is a 4G Router that resets itself every night (by operator) and perhaps gets a new external IP address....
Is it possible that Domoticz reconnects/checks automatic with MyDomoticz on a regular base? Now it only checks on reboot.

Re: MyDomoticz revisited
I was wrong with my external IP, I get a new IP every night from my operator... My instance is offline now again.
Is there something else to do except rebooting Domoticz every day?

Re: MyDomoticz revisited
MyDomoticz finally works again!!! Successfully tested on PC running Chrome and on Android phone today. All is good
4 1/2 months without MyDomoticz remote access has actually been quite a nerve-racking experience, not being able to regularly monitor the automated heating during the winter months. Luckily it's worked out OK, with the local instance of Domoticz having done its job. But it sure is nice to finally be able to monitor the behavior remotely again.
Whoever managed to make it work again - thank you so much. And please - if it ain't broke then don't fix it
BTW - I am still running Domoticz version 2020.2 as I understand from various posts on this forum that version 2021.1, build 13191, still has several issues.

Re: MyDomoticz revisited
I've been having this issue the whole week. As far as I recall, it started around 5 June.
I have tried several times, different times of the day, different platforms, different browsers - always with the same result, i.e. not being able to reach MyDomoticz.
Would be nice to know whether anyone is actually responsible for MyDomoticz, whether anyone is actually doing something to make it available on a more consistent basis.
Anyone ready to step up to the plate and say "I own it, I will fix it"?

Re: MyDomoticz revisited
I guess the site is broken again?
I first get a Certificate error. (Certificate is on name: acs.chimit.nl)
When I do continue (which should not be safe) I get error 403 Forbidden..

Re: MyDomoticz revisited
As MyDomoticz clearly does not work (it has only worked intermittently since January 2021), and as there does not seem to be any effort to make it work (no one has so far stepped up and said "I am / we are working on this and plan to have it sorted out by ..."), I guess there is only 1 alternative, namely adopting alternative ways of accessing my local Domoticz instance remotely (and securely).
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to best do this? Anyone with real experience as to what works and what needs to be done to make it work properly? And to do so securely.
Looking forward to views / recommendations.

Re: MyDomoticz revisited
My views on this:
Just have control yourself by setting up & utilizing a local VPN service and always use this VPN to access your local LAN.
Forget about port forwarding to give direct access to any system on the internal LAN.
Obviously this VPN services needs to be securely setup. Some Internet NAT Routers have it build-in or else they probably have an DMZ option where you can place the Server with the VPN service running on it. Use UserdId's with a long & hard to guess passwords or, even better, use certificates.
It's not perse a Plug&Play solution and requires some technical knowledge, but works for me.

Re: MyDomoticz revisited
@jvdz - Thanks a lot for your input. Much appreciated.
You confirmed what I suspected, namely the VPN route.
I guess I was somewhat optimistically hoping for more of a Plug&Play solution - although, in all fairness, I didn't quite expect it.
Time to sift through the VPN offerings out there and get remote Domoticz access that way.

Re: MyDomoticz revisited
As an alternative, and because it seems that you have Domoticz on a Raspberry, may be you can activate VNCServer with cloud connection (https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... ccess/vnc/). Then using Raspberry browser you can access to Domoticz.
