Openweather Map does not update after domoticz start without network connection

After a restart of my RPI, it doesn't get an IP-address until I unplug / plug the network cable in the RPI. Although I would like help in this matter, the question is about Openweathermap:

Since the reboot of domoticz 24hr ago (I did my unplug/plug trick 3-5 minutes after reboot of the RPI), Openweathermap was no longer updating. Once I realized that today, I disabled/enabled the openweathermap hardware in Domoticz and the weather devices are immediately updating again.

Why doesn't Openweathermap try again with a decent time interval or put regularly an error message in the log file? I will write a little warning script myself to check the last update time of the device and trigger a notification. This will at least warn me that the displayed temperature may be inaccurate when the last update is older than x hours.
