In domoticz manual there is a paragraph with screen where in adding new device you choose that this new device should be "sub device" you can than choose the main device from the list. However, in my case where I click "sub device" the list of main devices remains empty. Whet's the trick?
Thanks in advance!

Re: sub device - no main devices in combo
Sorry to disappoint you, but I just want to say your not the only one: I've the same issue even with the latest release available for Synology (2020.2).
So far, I found no alternative to create a sub device.
Although when you create the device as a main device, you are still able to add this device as a sub device in any other main device. However, both devices are show as switches and you can see that they will follow each other, but when this will make a mesh of your switch page if you have a lot of those main/sub combinations...
And maybe this isn't even what you want to achieve: E.g. when you press a button on a remote that is defined as a slave switch, the main device will follow but no command is send to the hardware switch, so nothing will happen.
Wouldn't it be nice if this was an option (just follow the state or send a command to the hardware as well)? This is very handy when you want to control z-wave switches with X10 (COCO) remote controls.
