Wired Alarm - dS3484 or ETH484

Post by bayensf »

Hello all,

I want to exchange my wired Bosch alarm system processor unit with a robot-electronics relay & sensor board. 4 relays and 8 I/O are more than enough to exchange my existing Bosch PCB. Today only ETH8020 LAN board is support, more expensive and a total of 20 relais, to much.

Could preferable the dS3484 be added (I bought one), it should be similar to the ETH484.
If not could anyone let me know were to find the existing files related to the ETH8020?

Many thanks in advance for your reply,

with kind regards,

FB

Did you manage to configure the ds3484 in domoticz?
I'm thinking of buying the ds2824 and was wondering whether the ds series are compatible with domoticz...

Hi.
Creasol DomBus modules are 100% compatible with Domoticz.
Also, relays are optimized for a very low power consumption, and this is perfect for relays that stay the most time ON like in alarm systems.
Raspberry + USB/RS485 adapter + 2x DomBus1 and you'll have:
* 4 relays with only 7mA current consumption/each @12V
* 12 inputs to connect magnetic contact sensors, PIRs, Tampers, ...
* 2 AC input (to sense power outage).

With RS485 bus (4 wire shielded cable for alarm) you can also connect other modules in the house.
Regards.

I use DomBus modules to charge EV car, get a full alarm system, control heat pump, fire alarm detection, lights and much more. Video

Connect an ethernet cable from your network to the ethernet connector on the dScript module, then attach a USB cable from the PC to the USB connector on the module. Now plug in the 12vdc power supply into the DC jack connector and switch on. When prompted by windows navigate to the USBdriver folder and install the USB driver.
