RFXCOM: suppress log messages?

Post by MikeF »

I have a (small: 7) number of RFXCOM temperature sensors (Oregon Scientific THGN122 etc.) in my system, which appear to send updates every 40 seconds or so. As a result, my log is getting 'flooded' with messages - is there any way of suppressing these?

In beta there is now the possibility to set log messages per hardware type.
But wait a little bit if you want to switch to beta because beta has issues at the moment, see bug section of this forum.

That's useful to know - thanks.

I will hold off, not least because I'll need to update my RPi to Buster.

If you wait a little longer, Debian 11 will be ready.

I'm on the Beta and find it one of my most wanted enhancements in the last 2 years.
Normal logfile finally.
