Hello!
Xiaomi has released a new version of the Aqara hub, the Aqara M1S. Unfortunately, it seems this hub cannot be paired with Domoticz (yet?) Of course support of this would be appreciated!
PS, Maybe it is a good idea to update the Wiki-page on the Aqara products with a warning / remark that the M1S version isn't compatible (yet) with Domoticz.....
Support for Aqara M1S hub?

Re: Support for Aqara M1S hub?
Mostly this kind of integrations depends of the manufacturer supplying an API to integrate and communicate and if not if someone finds a backdoor through sniffing communication between the APP and the gateway.
I think Xiaomi has closed the existing backdoors and is not supplying an API. So only a little hope here that they will be integrated in Domoticz.
For Zigbee devices (I think this M1S is using Zigbee?) you better use an Open Source gateway like DeConz, Zigbee2MQTT and ZiGate. See also https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Zigbee#Zi ... n_Domoticz

Hi!
And again thanks for the swift reply! I am not a developer and I have no intention at all to be a 'mr. Know it All" (in beperking toont zich de meester / by limitation the master shows himself ) But might these documents get you started? (again, i have no clue, i am not a developer....): http://docs.opencloud.aqara.com/en/

Well, I am also not a developer. And for practical reasons you will need the device to check if it works.
If you can find on github a Python library that can interface with this device then the hope that someone will pick up is larger.
I suppose that for the API you will need an account or key that is not public available.

Re: Support for Aqara M1S hub?
There are some projects on Github which interface with the Aqara Hub,some involve soldering. One can apply for a 'not for profit' account @ Aqara to get access to the API.waltervl wrote: ↑Friday 12 February 2021 12:47 Well, I am also not a developer. Apearantly it is not possible anymore to request for a developer account.
