Auto slide screen improvements

Post by daemonshome »

Hi all,

How about to improve the aut slide screen?

Iam using a 12in touch screen, the settings are for 10screens, with auto slide for every 120 sec.
My problem is: at the moment then I use a screen, for example switch on-off something, or looking a cam in frame, after the 120 sec passes, the screen jumps to next one. So I need to press the previous screen to finish my settings.

How about to improve the auto-slide function to reset the timer to next screen with parameters, like:
- if button is pressed on current screen the timer should be restarted, to be able to see the changes, without need to press again the prev screen!
- with variable
- with option, if a change will accur in the particular screen, then jump there? ex: switch receive change.
- if touch screen senses a touch/click

Thanks for considering the idea.

This request is already more than half a year old, but I've just started to use Dashticz and I fully recognize the problem. Would be great if this could be picked up!

Alternatively, it would also be an option to disable automatic sliding, and control it from Domoticz. Is it possible to send a (http) command to the Dashticz server to make it go to a certain page?

ok, I'll look into this. I'm finalizing a rather big update at the moment. That needs to stabilize first.

For you second question:
Domoticz blocks have a slideOn parameter. Dashticz will slide to the indicated page if the device switches to on. So with that you can make Dashticz slide to a certain page by switching a device in Domoticz.
