I'm using Domoticz for many years now but want to switch my Hue lamp with the wall switch. For that I bougth a Sonoff mini R2 and flashed it with Tasmota. To controll a normal lamp the use is well documented and I have some lamps working this way. Disconnecting a hue lamp however isn't the best way because all settings (colour and itensity) are gone when you switch the power back on.
I was thinking of installing the Sonoff mini R2 behind the wall switch and write a script to switch off or switch on the light. Preferably I change the configuration to a button where a short press switches the state of the lamp (on or off) and a long press rotatingly dimmes and increases the light.
I've been trying for several hours now but to be honest my scripting skills are poor and I don't know how or where to start.
