Enable user to change their own password

Post by rrozema »

In a time where ransomware and other attacks are more and more frequent, it is important to frequently rotate all passwords, especially if they are exposed to the internet. In Domoticz only an administrator can set a password for the end-users. In pratice this means that in the best case an administrator sets a password once for a user and after that the password is never changed again. Also, it means that the administrator knows the password for all of the users.

Can we have a screen where every user, as defined by the administrator, can set their own password? Idealy the administrator can even set a rotation period: the maximum time the same password can be used before a new password must be chosen.
