Are you saying you cannot open ANY ports? Seems a bit too restrictive. Perhaps they call it different?
What is the name of the provider? And what make/model modem/router did you get?
If port forwarding is not allowed at all, then I guess your best bet is to buy your own modem/router, like one of the Fritzbox models. It would replace the provided modem.

Hi,
My provider is "Westenergie Breitband GmbH" And my router is an Frizbox 7490 I got hte portforwarding setup as it should be and locally it all works fine, except from outside my network. This seems to have something to do with having an private ip.
I tried using both supplied ip addresses, one figured out with "whatsmyip" and the other is given in the fritzbox. Using checks like yougetsignal and portcheckers nothing seems to work as I try to connect trough 4G on my mobile net getting to the access of my connections.
Strange enough I got the ip that is given by the fritzbox entered in the duckdns and trough there i can access my network at home, but then again I can't access it from outside my network.

Perhaps you have an internet access without public IP. So you have a few ways to get direct access to domoticz web panel:
Buy a external VPN service and create VPN connection. For example: NordVPN
Use Zerotier
You can use ZeroTier for that.
It might look somewhat complicated but it isn't thar hard.
I installed Zerotier om my Domoticz Raspberry Pi, my telephone, tablet and laptop and on all devices i can use an internal IP adres to use Domoticz.
This works from inside and outside my network.
If you run domoticz on a pi, you can set up the RealVNC server that comes as part of the current pi OS package, create a RealVNC account, then use the free Real VNC client on whatever device you will use remotely, and access via a browser running on the pi.
If you don't run domoticz on a pi, RealVNC server is available on other platforms, but I think there's a fee.
Alternatively, just set a separate pi up as part of your local network and RealVNC into that. Very inexpensive. Obviously that also needs to stay powered on 24/7/365, but it isn't a big deal.
Port forwarding isn't needed and any changes to your ip address have no impact.
(I do actually have the app and port forwarding, but that was before I got a new pi and the current OS with RealVNC included so I may now switch all that off.)
There are other VNC products, and I think to some extent they will connect with each other, but I'm not techie enough to know much more, and as RealVNC is free on a pi it's a bit of a no-brainer.
Ok I tried both and the only thing that does kind of work for me is the "real VNC" its even better using this then putty and other remote access, but this to the side of this topic.
I was aiming at getting the domoticz app working outside my network but this won't be the case if I can't use portforwarding, so ill will keep playing around and searching...
Glad you found a solution that works for you, but ngrok is not for me.
I did look at it before I settled on using RealVNC as an alternative route for what I need. I dismissed it when I looked into the organisation that runs it..and didn't get very far.
I know ngrok is widely used - but there is no information available about it that I could find - ownership....principal staff....not even where it is based or any contact details.
At least Real VNC is as open about itself as you could reasonably expect.

I didn't check any of those details I get you're point.
I installed ZeroTier for my domoticz environment. It is a very good and fast system. You can install it on Raspberry-pi, android phone or iphone and windows-PC and create one virtual network for all devices. You can use RDP remote desktop from windows to all you pi's.
It also made it possible to connect remote to a PI in my camper where I installed a 4G router.
For up to 10 devices it is free. The install script are in the post in this topic
