Fibaro Z-wave sensor does not give correct values

Post by DosN »

Hi

I have a Pi3 and a Z-wave.me stick (OpenZWave USB Version: 1.6-1520-g893e076a) and running domoticz 2020.2 (build 12741)
i have 2x Fibaro sensors (FGMS001-ZW5 Motion Sensor+) running good, for 2years

now im added a third one and this one is not OK. I already switched it at the store(thought it was defect) . But almost the same problem
Temperature ,tamper and motion reading are not correct

I also try to reset the z-wave controller, but it does not work .

Does somebody knows:
- how to reset the z-wave.me
- do i need new SW for it
- and how about the reading

I have similar problems. it seems after upgrading to Domoticz 2020.2 that randomly z-wave devices report wrong values or no values at all or even get “disconnected”.
I struggle already for several weeks with this problem. Also the blocky-scripts behave strange sometimes as a result of those wrong or missing values or missing nodes.
I already exchanged the complete raspberry 3 to a new pi 4 without any improvement. Now I installed it all to my Synology-NAS and still have the same issues.
I use the system to automate the heating system and it worked fine for years, but now it’s not reliable any more. If I can’t solve this within Domoitcz I need to switch to an other platform (e.g. OpenHab or Home-Assistant).
Can anyone help or give a clue?

the strange think is , the older fibaros( i have for 2 years) are working OK. but teh new fibaro is not working ok.
the smart sensor reads a temperature wich is 90degrees to high, also the tampor is not woking and motion sensor is overwrinting the tampor input

readings at OpenZWave Control Panel are wrong for the new sensor
