Neo coolcam pir sensor breaks Zwave configuration

Dear all, maybe somebody here had my problem and successfully solved it or maybe sombody can just suggest solution... I have 3 of Coolcam PIR sensors I bought a couple of years ago. These are includable in Domoticz without problems and are recognized as such during the exclusion process. They also get valid zwave node id. However, upon attempt to change some of the parameters Domoticz refuses to communicate to them, puts a red line "Notification sensor" for this node in Hardware->Zwave controller Setup page and stops all further efforts to heal that node, which now becomes dead forever. It looks like it is the attempt to change an invalid parameter which breakes the node in Domoticz. Any suggestion how to attack this problem? Thx anyway

You have to wake op the node with the small button inside. I do that right after updating in Domoticz. Sometimes it looks I have to do that several times.

Take care that neo have built 2 versions of these PIRs: 1 with integrated temperature sensor was proposed, after one 1st version without this sensor. Sounds good, but they did not changed the IDs of the device.

As IDs are used to select configuration description file in domoticz/Config, both must use the same file: Open Zwave have no way to guess what version of the device is used.

Most of configuration items are shared between devices, except a few one with a warning in the config file. And the user have to use those of the right device version only.

As a side note on these devices used in alarm setup, take care not to let them go under 20/30% reported battery level: At this reported level, they may in fact be close to 0%. Problem is they then start to trigger very often and without move: If you're not at home to notice they flash every few seconds, your alarm system will for sure trigger.

Neo is cheap, but there is a few drawbacks you'll notice soon (inclusion must be done from domoticz with z-stick or IDs will be set to 0, for all device from them I own)... or over time. At least those are not 220Vac powered and may not burn your home (avoid using their plug).
