Force HTTPS / SSL

Post by jpveen »

hi all,
I searched the forums, and cannot find a good solution how to force SSL for Domoticz webclients.

Best solution is to accept port80 requests, but immediately forward to https when serving the login-window. The only solution I find is to disable port 80 connectivity, but this gives trouble auto-renewing the letsencrypt certificate.

Is there a way to tell the Domoticz webserver to redirect the login screen to https:// ?

Thanks!

You can tell domoticz to ignore all traffic from http.
Maybe this solution helps ?
Another approach might be to forward the domoticz www port to the domoticz sslwww port (in your router)
