libboost1.61-dev has no installation candidate

Hi All,

I'm trying to install on debian9 but get -

Code: Select all

E: Package 'libboost1.61-dev' has no installation candidate
E: Package 'libboost-system1.61-dev' has no installation candidate
E: Package 'libboost-thread1.61-dev' has no installation candidate

Do i need this version or can a newer one be installed?

Hi,

Are you following the installation instructions, as described at https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Install.txt under "Debian stretch" ?

As fas as I know the latest version is 1.62.0.1.
See: https://packages.debian.org/stretch/libboost-all-dev
You can try to install this version.

Be aware, that the latest Domoticz requires Buster and will not run on Stretch.

I thought the lastest we could use was stretch. I will install buster and try again.
