Milight / Mi-Boxer WL-BOX1 Web Interface
Hello Guys,
I've got myself a Milight WL-BOX1 Which gives me the opertunity to control my lights with Amazon Alexa. Works greath, altough it can only control 1 group/zone.. In my case not a big deal cause i added all lights to 1 group.
With the older IBOX2 i've found a webinterface. The new WL-BOX1 can't? Anyone knows if the WL-BOX1 has a webinterface and how to open it? Is it running a different port?

Re: Milight / Mi-Boxer WL-BOX1 Web Interface
Hello,
Same problem here...
The I-Box2 is listening on port 80 with a web interface.
On the WL-BOX1 I've done a port scan and no open ports show.
Does anyone know how to control the MIBOXER WL-BOX1 from Domoticz?
Thanks
//Rene

Re: Milight / Mi-Boxer WL-BOX1 Web Interface
Same problem here. I found out that the android app communicates on ports TCP 6668 and UDP 6667 with the mi boxer device. Have tried to use these ports in domoticz, but so far no luck. Seems another port is needed, but can't access the webinterface of the device to figure out or configure.

I've did a port scan on the WL-Box1. There is no webinterface included with this device. It is a totally different device than the IBOX2 is. The WL-BOX1 is devloped by a totally different company then the IBOX2 was. It looks like the WL-BOX1 is based on the ESP2866 hub.

Not sure.. I've configured the WL-BOX1 in the Mi-boxer App and configured the device for Alexa Voice Control. My WL-BOX1 device (which has RGB CCT stips) linked does respond to it. I can change colors via the app and via voice control.marmachine wrote: ↑Friday 03 January 2020 9:58 Same here, btw i am under the impression that RGB CCT strips aren't supported either... ?

Agree, they work in the miboxer app! I have a PX1 controller/100W power paired with WL-BOX1, this works just fine! Next step is to have the same functionality in Domoticz, so i can control them from there.j0eyv wrote: ↑Wednesday 08 January 2020 12:51Not sure.. Did you manage to get it working?
I ordered the IBOX2 but they send me the WL-Box1 unfortunately.

For those who like an alternative for the MI-light box:
https://github.com/sidoh/esp8266_milight_hub
Quite easy to make, unlimited lights and works fine with Domoticz

I agree. I use few of them in a large house, with lot of Milight bulbs, w/o problem since a while under Domoticz, with MQTT and https://github.com/etsach/espmilighthub-domoticz as plugin.

Hi All,
Anyone familiar with this? Seems like a nice review?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-revi ... KXOKRAUF8Q
This is not the same like that terrible Miboxer WL-BOx1 right?
Thanx in @vance!
