Radio Paging

Yes I know this is probably considered to be an outdated mode of communication but (as I'm no programmer - at all !!) I can only ask the question.

It's fairly easy to find the the information on the internet regarding how to generate POCSAG code, if this was to be impleted into Domoticz in some way would it have to be integral to the whole application or could it done via some scripting, either route would only need to use 2 GPIO pins, one to "key up" the transmitter and another to output the data at 512, 1200 or 2400 baud depending on the pager. A simple low power 10mw tx module in the ISM band and matching pager could then allow easy local messaging.

The reason behind the above request is very simple, I use Prowl for notifications and it's great but once my iphone goes on to silent at night it doesn't matter how important the message is you don't know about it till the morning, a prime example is a water leak (first hand experience). I now have some Aquara leak detectors which work great but I don't want to leave my phone on "normal" all night as emails etc also cause an alert so being woken up at 2am just so Amazon can tell you your parcels on its way is not my idea of a good nights sleep.
