deCONZ and Ikea tradfri E1743

Post by Melotron »

Greetings.

Atm I have a Hue bridge with a few lamps and a few on 433mhz, but I want to add ikeas on/off button to my system.
And have them to set a virtual switch for us when we are going to sleep.

I've installed the ConBee II and got it to work on domoticz, ive also added the button.
But when I turn it on it turns off after 5 sec in domoticz.
Which results to the light to turn on again.
Also when I press the off button, it turns on again for a few seconds resulting on the switch to be as I pressed ON again.
I have the button set as a selector, level 0 are Off and 10 are On.
As a ON/OFF switch it says "Sound 2" for a few sec on on but it dont turn on the light, on off it does nothing as I can see.

How do I make it so that the switch stays on untill i press the off button ??
Is it possible to have it as a normal on and off button??

Hello, I think I have understand.

Do you use some scripts ?
For some "aesthetic reasons", after some seconds, the switch come back to "off" positions, so this one can't be used.
But you ikea switch have other value for "off" position, other than the "off" value in domoticz widget, it's for that the "off" value is not displayed in the widget.

To see it, you can use the "log" button" on the widget.

But it's easy using scripts, there is some exemple here (but not in the same situation than you) https://github.com/Smanar/Domoticz-deCO ... for-switch

Else
- what is the name of your virtual switch ?
- do you want to use on et off, or toogle feature ?
- I need the values used by the device for "on" and "off" (or level/name in switch).
