Sunscreen tempature and humidity

Post by coppess »

Hi all,

At home, I have a Windows7 VM that controls my domoticz installation. Also I have a RFXCOM 433E controller, which controlls my Somy sunscreen. I am looking to automate the sunscreen according to the weather.

Is this Cresta a good device to controll my sunscreen? I have DarkSky running, but it is not always accurate.

Thanks in advance.

I use darksky with Somfy and I find it accurate enough. Most important for me is the wind I als use multiple cresta's but for the Somfy Darksky is accurate enough.

This is what I found at Conrad.nl

Bought one last week, but can't get it to work in Domoticz :(

Maybe I need to change some settings in RFXcom

Some more info found on the Dutch Conrad site:

Packettype = TEMP_HUM subtype = TH7 - Cresta, TFA TS34C

Edit: Found out you need to select Hideki in the 'set mode' menu for the RFXcom transceiver.

For some reason, my notifications don't always seem to work. I'm going to buy that version to see if it works for me!
