Z-Wave or Zigbee battery operated LED light

Post by ben53252642 »

Does anyone know of a battery operated Z-Wave or Zigbee LED Light that I can stick inside a cupboard?

I don't want automatic motion, the goal is to have the light turned on by Domoticz if certain conditions are met.

I've been looking for something like this for some time but haven't found it. Just one small led as a status light or even better 4 or 5 independent leds...
But havent found anything.
If you want it for a night light it's probably possible to power a small led strip with a Gledopto led controller with three 18650 Li-ion cells. Haven't tried it but I guess it's possible.

If you really feel like it you could buy an Ikea bulb, take out the zigbee module and connect it to some LEDs and power it with a 3.3V battery. Or use a Ikea bulb and build the 230V to something on battery.
