Re: Python Plugin: WLED
Hi reinstalled domoticz and restore the database, now I have an error by WLED. I add the pIugin but i don't see WLED by the hardware page. I did remove the directory WLED and reinstal WLED, but I don’t see WLED by the hardware. How must I remove WLED in domoticz and reinstalled it?

Remove it from Domoticz hardware, then restart.antonlamers wrote: ↑Friday 16 October 2020 16:36 I can i first remove it en install it again?
I did remove the directory, but that doesn't work
If the directory is still there, remove it and restart.
Then try reinstalling.
Make sure you have the WLED directory in domoticz/plugins.

Re: Python Plugin: WLED
I'm still working things out. But as soon as you have more than 1 segment you will get a master color and brigtness slider (the one that you already have) and 1 color and brightness slider per extra segment. I think it is the same way Home Assistant does it.
I still have to look into effects, presets and palletes.
Let me know your ideas.

Re: Python Plugin: WLED
I was only curious! This is very good the way they do it!
I don't have a single pigment myself, I don't know how to use it.

Re: Python Plugin: WLED
Since i updated to version 2020.2 of Domoticz
Domoticz is crashing almost once a day. Before it crashes, i can see in the log:
After this, domoticz crashed
It has something to do with wled plugin i think....
I already did a git pull and restart to get the latest wled plugin, but still get the crashes on WLED.
Can you please take a look at this?

Re: Python Plugin: WLED
Does anyone know why this doesn't work
The lamp switches on and off ok and all set percentages get written ok but it completely ignores the Set WLED - Effects value so I can't have a preset pattern at power on, I've tried altering the Set order and delaying it but it makes no difference, also tried the value in a txt box with the pattern no. and name but no response, changing the pattern in Domoticz directly on the switch page works fine.
Any ideas guys.
TIA
Dave

WLED - Effects is also a level setting. In this case 50%.Dave21w wrote: ↑Monday 07 December 2020 22:06 Does anyone know why this doesn't work

It seems a bit strange but that is how Domoticz selects work.
