streamplayer autoplay

Post by twoenter »

Hi all

At my dashticz dashboard I want to use the streamplayer. It works OK but:

When I pause the stream and I leave the tablet alone for like, a half a hour. If I pick up my tablet up again the streamplayer starts playing again. Maybe it is a feature but I want to turn it off until I start it again manually. Is that possible?

I use the following:
Domoticz 4.11423 at Synology NAS
Python Version: 3.5.1
Dashticz running at Syno too
Samsung SMT550 with fully browser plus.

Thank you

Does playing also start at initial start of Dashticz? I guess autoplay is enabled in fully browser plus.

Probably the half hour you mention is the Dashticz refresh interval. You can change the 'dashticz_refresh' parameter in CONFIG.js

Can you disable autoplay in fully browser plus? If not I can add a block parameter.

I changed a few settings in dashticz and fully.

When I do a fresh start of dashticz it does not start the stream.

When I turn off the screen and turn it on again, the steam start to play. Even when I paused it before.

When I leave the screen on and dashticz goes into the 'Screensaver mode' and I tap the screen, it starts to play a stream. But this happens after a while. When I tap the screen after a couple of seconds after the screensaver mode has been activated the streamplayer stay paused.

In the right corner I see Streamplayer connecting...

When I am in kiosk mode with fully and I press the home button, it starts to play a stream.

I like to have a autostart disable function. Or please tell me what I have configured wrong.

Can you check in Fully:
Settings -> Web Content Settings -> Autoplay audio

This should be set to false

Did you solve this?
I'm having the same problem.
When opening fully kiosk the stream does not start.
When the motion detection starts the screen again the stream player starts playing
I Checked: Settings -> Web Content Settings -> Autoplay audio
this is disabled.

What else could be the problem?

Advanced settings -> Resume playback when getting to foreground
Disable this option.
