How to read out the status of the Venetian Blinds

Post by jvrr »

Hello everyone,

I pull my hair out, I can't solve this problem....

I open and close my Venetian blinds with some states ...like If the sun power is high enough etc..
But every time that statement is true it try to close the blinds, they allready closed before.

So I want to read out the status off the blinds...
I already tried to use the status closed and open, but that does not seems to work.

For now I use a variable that is set when the statement is true,etc, but that variable is not set when you open /close the blinds physically.

Please post your script, then it's easier to see what's going wrong

Try "On" instead of "Open".
I also have a venetian blind. In de device tab it says "Open" and "Close". But in the log of that device it says "On" and "Off"
Thin-client --> Docker Domoticz main environment
Pi3A+ --> Google home (GAssistPi)
Pi3B+ --> Docker (P1monitor, Domoticz test environment, Ubiquity controller)
