ZWave problems after rebuild / db import

Post by rmoria »

Hello,

I have troubles with my ZWave devices after I had to rebuild my domoticz due to a failing SD-card. I had a good db backup and almost everything works fine, but not all ZWave devices are showing up good in domoticz.

All Devices with ID and Type 0x0000 are not working as they should.
Device 002 (0x02) Woonkamer PID FIBARO System FGMS001-ZW5 Motion Sensor is not giving any data.
Device 017 (0x11) and 018 (0x12) are the same, but 018 (0x12) does not have full function (only on/off switch, not power-output etc)

Is there a way to fix this? Some devices cannot be removed and added again.

What happens when you select one and choose ‘refresh node info’?
Make sure you wake the device if it’s battery powered for this.

It doesn't help. I tried it on node 18 (powerplug) repair node & get node information

Is there any file /db where I can see the configuration/ node information (and edit it)

I couldn't find a sollution. The nodes were still registered, so I could remove them and then add them again. The missing information was picked up and now it's all working again.

My workaround for OZW 1.6 is to edit the file ozwcache..... with data from device of same type (es. if you have 2 powerplug identical) you can copy the configuration of the device that work and paste into the ozwcache.xml but with ID of zwave device changed.
The other way is to copy the configuration data from the old backup of OZW 1.4 file zwcfg...... and paste to ozwcache.....
You can use Notepad++ to do this.
After reboot the device abtain all the correct configs.

For me remain the problem that my zwave Control Panel is empty :(
