Zigate and Tradfri 5 button remote in group

This is expected and the correct behaviour.

Please check the wiki and/or the forum where this topic as been addressed several time !

You have to have the zigate part of the group and you have to add the ike remote as well.

I see and read the multiples documentations.
If it's normal, just a question. Can I add the Ikea remote control with web UI beta ? Because I test add remote control several time but the configuration is erase/ignore.
I test add remote control with vim in ssh but don't works.
Do i have to use the json file or create the *.txt file ?

Yes please use the web admin it will be easier.
In the group you have to have the bulb, the remote and zifate

Once again, thank you for your response.

In attachment, the screenshot relating to the configuration file and my devices list.

I was particularly careful to select the zigate ( check button ), the remote control and the bulb in the same group. But despite all this I do not have the impression that the ID of the remote control is added to the configuration file. This is the reason why I will need help.

did you restart the plugin after having added the Ambiance_remote_controler ?

Yes, I have restarted many times. I did tests for about 2 hours. The zigate and domoticz plugins were restarted several times each. But the result is always the same.

The remote control widget is detected by domotics but does nothing.
The group widget only knows how to raise or lower the light.
The right and left button of the remote control does not work and returns the error message

Can you tell me if the configuration file generated is good or if it misses the section for the remote control ?
If you wish I can do tests.

Hello,
I remove zigate plugin 4.6 beta and install 4.7 stable. The problem it's the same ( no surprise ), but I have this error at reload of web page ( ctrl + R ):
Error: (Zigate) No transport, write directive to '127.0.0.1:33112' ignored.

I have also found a error at boot of Zigate ( Soft reset or restart domoticz ) :
(Zigate) Zigate details IEEE: 00158d00021e13f0, NetworkID: 0000, Channel: 11, Status: 01: ZIGATE - [01] Incorrect Parameters


Last informations, the applications of the web UI is very random. For example, remove group is rarely apply.
But file ZigateGroupsConfig-04.json is really rewrite.

For exemple, my log for the last validate :

I works for me.

Here are the steps I have done

1/ Pairing the Ikea Bulb with ZIgate ( 6 times Off/On)
==> Create a Widget in Domoticz
2/ Pairing the Ikea Trdafri Remote with Zigate ( 4 times press on the pairing button)
==> Create a Widget in Domoticz
3/ Pairing the Ikea Tradfri Remote with Ikea Bulb ( press the pairing button 10s or more to get the flash)
==> Get confirmation by switching Off/On the Bulb and see the Bulb Widget updated
4/ With Web Admin -> Group -> Rescan Groups
5/ Restart the plugin

==> After a While I saw a Group in the Web Admin => Group Management where the Bulb was member of that group

6/ Add Zigate ( click Zigate in group ) and add the Ikea Remote to be part of the group

7/ Restart the plugin

==> After a While I check the Group and saw the confirmation

===> Now I can:
==> Control On and Off
==> Control Dim Level
==> Control White Color from 2700K to 5400
And when I do action on the remote, the Remote widget in Domoticz is up-dated.


Please cross-check that you do that ?
If still no working , please enable debugGroup

press the Scene control Left-Right and then attach the logs

In addition please do provide the following exports from Tools Menu
Plugin group (json)
zGroup-lst-devices (json)

5 minutes is indeed much closer.

The best is to wait in the "USB-Zigate - Zigate Notifications" widget , for "Groups management startup completed"

Hi,

Before I saw your answer, I made a video of the procedure step by step. After 10 minutes you can see the problems encountered.

We can see that the group is not automatically created. Sometimes it works but not during the video ...
At the end we see that the web interface has a random behavior ( on group created and group deleted ).

There is certainly something I am doing wrong, I am looking for, but I cannot find.

I will do it again tomorrow while waiting 5 minutes.

Ok, will repeat the process for extract log.
Can you tell me how to enable the debugGroup log ?
Currently, I have (luck) a group which according to the web interface should be correct.
Widgets behave normally, even the widget remote control.

In the logs I have the following error:

For the log, the best is to enable domoticz login. And for that you have to add -log /var/tmp/domoticz.txt in the domoticz startup command. The end result will be that ALL domoticz logs will be store in the file /var/tmp/domoticz.log .

For now, I'm not sure that we have to enable any additional log.

Now from what you have shared, I think that all is right, and the group is correct, and only see as a Dimable group and not a Color one.

- Could you confirm that from Domoticz the widget piloting the Bulb is a Color Widget ?
- Could you kindly attach the export of Device List raw (json).

I have buy "TRÅDFRI - KIT DE RÉGLAGE À DISTANCE",serial product : 204.065.70
The bulb have serial product : LED1732G11
The bulb no change color only change spectre of white from white cold to white hot.

This is where the problem is.
The Zigate - TRADFRI bulb E27 WS is a LighSwitch, Switch, Dimmer and not a Color Control. If I'm right you cannot change the White color either ?

Yes, it's the problem. Start / stop is ok. Dimmer light is ok, but button right and left for change white color don't work.

So the issue is here, not on the group. As the group just follow the device.
Did you try to remove the Bulb device and do the pairing again ?

Yes I understand. the widget should correspond to a white light dimming bulb with change white color (spectre).
Yes. I will pairing when I get home and I will give the log.

Could this problem explain the incoherent behavior of the web interface that we see at the end of the video? But this is another problem...
