Neo CoolCam Wall Switch problem
Hi,
I've installed a few Neo CoolCam Wall Switches 1CH/1-Gang and a few 2CH/2-Gang in my house.
2CH/2-Gang's are working fine, when i press the physical button Domoticz "sees" the state changed
Press from OFF > ON = Domoticz ON
Press from ON > OFF = Domoticz OFF
1CH/1-Gang's dont have that direct feedback.
The physical button needs to be pressed 3 times to get the status in Domoticz. First ON and OFF is not send to the controller from the Wall Switch.
I have this issue with all 5 1CH/1-Gang Wall Switches in my house.
1. Press from OFF > ON = > lights go ON > domoticz = switch did not change
2. Press from ON > OFF = > lights go OFF > domoticz = switch did not change
3. Press from OFF > ON = > lights go ON > domoticz = light is ON
4. Press from ON > OFF = > lights go OFF> domoticz = light is OFF
Is this issue Domoticz related or hardware/sensor related?

Re: Neo CoolCam Wall Switch problem
Do you have enough zwave powered devices in the mesh to ensure you have a stable path to the server?

Re: Neo CoolCam Wall Switch problem
5x Wall Switch 1CH
2x Wall Switch 2CH
1x Aeotech Switch 6
5x Fibaro Wall Plug
So that shouldn't be an issue.
Also having the issue if the Wall Switch is approx 1.5m from the Aeotec Gen.5 controller.

Re: Neo CoolCam Wall Switch problem
Still have the same issue. Bought a Fibaro HC lite to test it out but results are not reliable (gf does not tell me when she pushes the buttons )
Going to buy a Fibaro Home Center(big one) to test it out a bit more.
But to be clear, the 3-presses (on>off>on) is not always needed. Only after a few hours (exact time still not known).

Have you changed anything within the parameters? The 1st on should be disabled (remember relay on/off state). Other guess: defective hardwareterrorsource wrote: ↑Monday 01 October 2018 8:05Still have the same issue. These are the settings of the 1-button switch at the moment. This switch is used in a "hotel switch setup".LouiS22 wrote: ↑Monday 01 October 2018 10:53Have you changed anything within the parameters? Should i change the first option to "Disable" ?

Re: Neo CoolCam Wall Switch problem
No, there is no working solution.
Already spoke with more people who have this issue.
really looks like there's a time-out in the firmware of the devices somehow.
Going to move to Fibaro Walli soon as replacements.

Re: Neo CoolCam Wall Switch problem
I have the 3-channel version of the wallswitch. It has the same problem as the 1-channel.
I have the following Neo Coolcam Z-wave devices:
4 x 1-channel (no on/off signal to Domoticz on fysical operation)
3 x 2-channel (on/off signal to domoticz ok) 1 switch is defect with black burnmarks on the print
1 x 3-channel (no on/off signal to Domoticz on fysical operation)
5 x powerplug (kWh not working correct.)
Update: better solution at bottom!
I have the wallswitches working better by enabling polling on the 1 and 3 channel switches with an interval of 5 seconds (on the controller). This way you have to wait max. 5 seconds for domoticz to see the switch.
If anyone found a better solution for this problem, please tell me / us.

Update:
I have managed to get the wallswitches working. They now return the on/off signal to Domoticz after fysical operation!
In Hardware click Settings for open -Zwave, then click the Groups TAB.
In the Groups screen: (click refresh after each change!)
1CH wallswitch: remove and add again a 1 in group 1 (nr. 1 is the controller.)
3CH wallswitch: remove and add again a 1 in group 1. Strange enough the 1 is changed to 1.1 by the program, but it works.
remark: The 3-channel wallswitch is not available in the open Z-Wave database yet. You can get it working but some things are missing.
