Hi guys,
I'm quite new to this and am wondering if this is actually possible.
I have a Yale HSA6400 alarm installed at home which as far as I'm concearned operates at 433Mhz.
Thanks.

Hi,
Chances are your devices are supported. However, the only way to be sure is to contact the company behind the rfxcom and verify.
From what I could find for the RFLInk, the open-source alternative, is that a couple of Yale devices are supported by the RFLInk.

Out of curiosity, do you already have the rfxcom or are you looking to buy one?

I'll have to try it I guess. I remember I had contacted Yale regarding the possibility of transforming the existing 6400 alarm to the latter smart version which, as far as I understand, can be included in Domoticz. It wasn't possible. However, I'm fairly sure all peripherals of the 6400 variant are using the 433mhz protocol.
The question is if I get to utilize those with Domoticz after all, will the actual alarm be rendered useless? In other words, could they possibly be used simultaneously by Domoticz and Yale?
I've only recently bought a used RFXCOM (1st gen) and haven't used it since. I'm not sure I have compatible devices around and I have also yet to think about possible bindings and how they are going to communicate with the rest of mysmart configuration. For the time being I have only a couple of Wifi Plugs and 3 nodes of Z-Wave network.

Your alarm will not be rendered useless as you just pick up the signals and not transmit. You do not interfere unless you specifically choose to.
How you integrate the our sensors is up to you, you could switch a light on the a motion sensor is triggered.
