I've bought a 5m RGBW strip fit fun and to experiment with. It looks very nice so no I want to use it in the living room.
Of course now I want to control it from Domoticz so I'm looking for a good and relative cheap wireless controller. Does someone have some good advise?

Re: Best RGBW controller
Hi Roblom! Sorry for bothering you! I am looking for also for 5m RGBW strip and a controller as well... I am bit lost on searching... Could you tell me which strip did you buy and which controller? and if it fits well with domoticz.roblom wrote: ↑Sunday 09 June 2019 23:17 I've bought a 5m RGBW strip fit fun and to experiment with. Re: Best RGBW controller
I recently discovered that I've did something stupid. I've asked here for the best RGBW controller but now I've received it I remembered again that the led strip I've bought was not an RGBW but an addressable strip. So I'm now waiting for a comparable controller but then for an addressable strip.
Conclusion is that I'm not able to answer your question because I don't have experience with it.
But the controller out of the above link is also confirmed as working with Domoticz by others. And this controller works with almost all RGBW led strips.
Controller must match the RGB, RGBW or addressable strip. And the voltage of the strip must match the voltage range of the controller.
And most Wi-Fi controllers work with Domoticz if I understood it right.

So... At least you clarify me something as I though I had to buy a special strip with its own controller...
If you try yours I would appreciate that you share the results. It can be helpful for more people like me

Re: Best RGBW controller
Seems like the Wi-Fi addressable controller I bought (see below) does not work in Domoticz. It does work perfect through the magic home app. Anyone have some advise?

Re: Best RGBW controller
Today I found out that this RGBW LED driver with addressable WS2811 LED's I bought (which works with the Magic Home app on Android) does work in Domoticz.
This can be done by using the Arilux AL-LC0x hardware. After adding this hardware you can add the device by use the IP address of the controller.
