zigate reporting doesn't work in lastest beta's
I experience that topology reports and energy level reports don't get generated in the latest beta's of the last days. At least not from 4.6.026 and later.
The status in the bottom bar stays busy:
Start at 25/11/2019 10:08:47
Rx/s : 2.76 Tx/s : 0.9 MaxLoad on Zigate : 10
Busy
Plugin version: 4.6.030
Firmware version: 031a
Sometimes it is briefly green, but changes to Busy again by itself.
When starting the plugin, i can see in the logs that a topology and energy report is requested. Pushing the scan button gives:
2019-11-25 17:25:15.185 (Zigate) Cannot start Network Topology as one is in the pipe
2019-11-25 17:25:18.408 (Zigate) a Scan is already in progress

This wasn't in the previous logfile. It happens on regular basis; see the bold lines.
1688 - 0017880102a2baf5 - Philips Hue LWB010
eeb3 - 0017880102c425f6 - Philips Hue LWB010
Both bulbs are controllable from domoticz.
Edit: The status in the zigate dashboard is now on Busy again... From previous experience, this will stay for hours, eventually it will become green and Ready again. Reports are never generated.

Can you try to disable Polling, to see how it behaves ?

I just restarted the plugin with polling disabled.
The errors:

reoccur.. I'll wait and see if the reports get generated and if any other errors occur.
Edit: the plugin switched to Busy again.. In the log nothing special.

I think maybe the next message is interresting:
2019-11-26 19:29:10.720 (Zigate) NwkScanResponse - Empty Queue, Receive infos from 0988
0988 is the following device and perfectly responding:

But still no topology or energy report

Re: zigate reporting doesn't work in lastest beta's
From the numbers of APS messages it seems that you have some network interferences or something like that.
What Zigbee channel are you ? What Wifi Channel are you using ( on 2.4 Ghz)

Re: zigate reporting doesn't work in lastest beta's
Thank you for your assistance!
Wifi channel is set to 1, for zigbee I have the channel set to 0 (auto select). In the logs of domoticz I see channel 11 is used for zigate. Is zigbee only using 1 channel or is it using multiple channels side-by-side because I see in the old energy report chart the channels 11,15,19,20,25,26.
For me it is no issue to change Wifi channel or change/lock zigbee channels.
For now, should I transfer the WiFi to channel 13? Then I would use the other side of the spectrum. That would mean the least overlap with the channels described in the wiki https://github.com/pipiche38/Domoticz-Z ... -Zigbee.md if i'm right.
Can interference have as effect that the reporting doesn't work anymore? I used to have energy reports of at least 5 routers with about 200 'energy units'.
I set WiFi to channel 13.. and restarted the plugin:
Network state UP, PANID: 028b extPANID: 0x4a4a75c4bb5e342c Channel: 11
So, not even close to the channel 13. Let's see what it brings this night.

Re: zigate reporting doesn't work in lastest beta's
I still got the APS messages, so in addition to changing the WiFi to channel 13 I set the zigbee channel to 15 in the zigate-dashboard as this is a non-overlapping channel with Wifi.
After setting the channel to 15 and restarting I still saw:
Status: (Zigate) channel set to 15
Network state UP, PANID: 028b extPANID: 0x4a4a75c4bb5e342c Channel: 11
So I checked in the Wifi UI of the Zigate esp-link (wifi version zigate) and tried to change the channel there in the Console menu. I couldn't change the channel in the textbox from 26 because of a disabled textbox, so I hit the Set Channel button to see if it would pop-up a set channel dialog. Instead it changed the channel in the ZiGate to 26. Now it seems although the channel is set to 15 in the zigate plug, the real channel that is in use is 26.
Effect: I lost connection to all my devices. Rebooting the zigate-wifi and domoticz doesn't change things back to the old channel, still channel 26. I don't know it will recover from this automatically, going to sleep now. See log:

Re: zigate reporting doesn't work in lastest beta's
Please do the following:
(1) Leave your Wifi on Wifi 2.4 Channel 11 or 13
(2) On Zigate
- Set the Channel back to 11 with Parameters settings
- do a Software Reset from the Web Admin GUI ( Admin sub-menu)
(3) After that some of the devices would reconnect, for those who are not able to re-join, put the Zigate/Plugin in Pairring mode and reset those devices

Re: zigate reporting doesn't work in lastest beta's
Great!
My network is online again, thank you for helping me out. Reports started working again, still strange to me that interference can hold up report generation.
Is there a way to migrate zigbee to another channel? I would like to try channel 15 because it has no overlapping WiFi channels. Maybe i can get rid of the occasionally APS messages.
Other question, for the first time ever i see:
2019-11-27 20:12:16.399 (Zigate) -- - Change PowerOn OnOff for device: 1688 from 1 -> 255

For this device, my logfile is filling with this message. What does it mean? It is a LWB010 Philips Hue Bulb. The bulb is fully responsive.

Re: zigate reporting doesn't work in lastest beta's
Ok, thanks..
One last question. I understand the Coordiator automatically selects the most silent network channel.
Is there a way to force a change to a new channel. I would like to move my network channel to channel 15. I can think of only configuring channels 11,15... But how to initiate the change to this other channel. Make noise on channel 11 but how to do that.
Configurating only 15 and reprovision all the devices is my least preferred option.

Re: zigate reporting doesn't work in lastest beta's
If you want to move to a Channel;, then you have to specify the Channel you want to work on via the Settings and then you have do a Zigate Software reset (viad the plugin Admin menu).
After that the Zigate will be on Channel 15. and you will have to repair most of the devices, as only few of them (Heiman for instance) are able to switch automaticaly to the new channel.
