Upped version 1947 - Floorplan tab is now selectable in the 'setup'/'application settings' page and will appear next to the dashboard tab when selected.

Added strings to multi-lingual files so if anyone wants to supply translations they can.

Hello Dnpwwo...

Great ! For information, I need to refresh my browser cache because Flooplans did not appears 1st time :)

Note : When I click on a door lock sensor on flooplan, it switches on (good !), but when I click again on an opened door lock, it tries to switch it on again :-/ I need to go back on "switches" tab to set it closed again.

Good evening !

If someone wants to make a nice 3D render of his rooms, try Sweet Home 3D. It's free to use and you can import a lot of free 3D models into the program Image

@Golgautier, try build 1948. If that doesn't work, you will need to send me the data sent to the browser like you did for the Set Point.

When using dimmable devices: I can turn it on clicking on the icon, but not turn it off (upon clicking it always mentions 'Switching on' (and it does indeed do that..).

I would prefer to be able to also turn it off... possible?

Hello,

I cannot edit more than 5 floorplans.
The 6th floorplan is in "Next" screen, but then not selectable.
It worked before.

In floorplan view mode, floor plan 1 and 2 is OK, then emtpy picture, then 4th is showing switches of picture 3.
When changing order of rooms, order of switches is not following.
Can i clean my rooms and start again?

@Pjedr, Nice pickup. I don't have more than 5 stories at my house so I hadn't tried the 2nd page, you must live in a mansion  Try build 1949 and let me know. I really tightened up the delete code in the last few weeks so that all hanging data is cleaned up, can you try deleting all your floors now and re-creating to see if that helps. I'm reluctant to give out instructions on manipulating the database directly unless really necessary because it may trash someone's db. If that doesn't work I can give you some commands then.

@Golgautier, I've reviewed the logic on the dashboard and had a second go at the floorplan. Try 1949. If that is still no good I just need the json output.

@_pm, I don't actually have any dimmable devices but for me clicking on the icon flips the device state which is what I think you want. Can you update to build 1949, flush your browser cache and try again. If it doesn't work follow these instructions: http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic ... =60#p20684

@bizziebis, glad to see someone else who is a fan of 3D floorplans, I was starting to think I was the only one :D

All my 10 floors are fixed by this release , but i have 2 floors, just in 1 picure.
Thanks to zooming option, ik can go to every floor and area

Other floorplans ideas:
-Outside, garden picture
-Side/front/rear views of house
-Fotos
-Panoramas not used, they get too small by resizing in domoticz, keep the width small, but almost inpossible in panorama.
-Street picture, mayby geofence in there.
-3d drawing, mayby later, takes time to draw and measure, hopefully i find an stitch together app,3d scanner app
-Picture with drawed signs, 2d menus
-...

Very nice, i allready had a sweethome floorplan form a few years ago, when i got my place, only have to update it with some more current furniture..

Little idea... Now we have to tap the icon and tap again on the bulb, to set a light on(or off)
Is it possble to tap for on and off, and hold little longer for popup?

Also I'd like to see temps directly displayd on the icon too if possible.

Hi LanWolf,

What browser/platform are you using? On a PC you mouseover and then click so I assume you are using a tablet. I do want to upgrade the tablet support at some stage to support things like swipe left and right to change plans. If there is a 'hold' mouse event on tablets I will look at it then.

Adding sensor values is high on the list to add. Technically it will take me around 2 minutes, the hard thing is no come up with a good look and feel that works with the different icons and potential background colours. If people want to post some pictures of how they want it to look that might inspire me and make it happen faster

How use Room Plan ?

Post by LanWolf »

I use an ipad ideed, i think home automation will mostly be used on a tablet or phone, not on a pc.

There is an option on holding the button i have seen it before on websites, like blockly does too, i can move the blocks when holding the nouse down, and select a switch or condition with a tap

I saw the popup,on mouseover on my mac, but i dont like tthat to much, because it blocks access to the next switch, to reach that i sometimes have to back off and try again, even when i placed the switches further appart.

I would use the floorplan on a tablet on the wall (high waf factor), and that would help,if temperatures are shown directly. Maybe even a kind of full screen option, the domoticz bar on top hidden or on the left or right would even do better to the screen resolution on a tablet.

The floorplans works great!! Thanks! I would also like a full screen option or direct link to one of the floors for a wall mounted device.

A full screen option sounds like a good idea, I'll put it on the list of improvements.

I'm currently working on adding device values to the floorplan itself and adding configuration items to the app settings page to give people more control over behaviors. I expect to have an update in the next couple of days.

Good news.
Another idea : is it necessary to have the full device displaying when clicking on it?
It is placed at the right place on the floorplan, so just displaying the icon is suffisant amo. Specially with lights, blinds, sceenes, ...
