Cannot create virtual switch any more [Solved] Topic is solved

Since two days I have a strange problem when trying to create a virtual switch through Manual Light/Switch. In the first field I select Virtual switch, that is if Domoticz allows me. Regularly the dropdown list is empty, but sometimes I succeed. In the second field I enter the name of the virtual switch. In the remaining fields I leave the default values. Before this worked fine but now, regardless what name I enter, I get an error saying "Switch already exists". Which in my mind is not true. Sometimes after clicking "Add device" the window hangs for some time. Does anyone know why I cannot create virtual switches anymore?

The "Add Manual Light/Switch Device" popup window does not prevent adding virtual devices with an already existing name but does check for already existing ID's. So if you already used the default 0 00 00 00 it will not allow a second one with this ID with the same- or different name.
For virtual devices it's easier to use the "Create virtual Sensors" button on your Dummy (does nothing use for virtual switches only)" hardware on
the [Setup] [ Hardware] tab.

Thanks for your quick reply. Indeed if I create a virtual switch via the "Create Virtual Sensors" button and edit it further on the "Switches" page, everything works fine.
